Sheboygan Falls crash leaves 1 dead, 1 seriously injured

SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities say a 51-year-old woman was killed in a Sheboygan Falls car crash early Wednesday morning, April 13.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle crash on County Road J west of Meadowlark Road around 5:43 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox was westbound on County Road J and crossed the center line, striking an eastbound Mazda CX-5 head on, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.
The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda was taken to a Milwaukee area hospital with significant injuries.
