SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Storms and severe weather caused damage across southeastern Wisconsin Tuesday night.
Many people across the area are waking up to flooding. In Ozaukee County, portions of County Road D at Belgium near Port Washington were closed due to flooding.
Heavy rain overnight has closed a portion of Co. Road D just outside of Belgium. Officials aren’t sure when it will reopen. This is what it looks like #TurnAroundDontDrownpic.twitter.com/HtY95NeYvi

In Waukesha and Jefferson counties, the National Weather Service will survey damage in rural areas. The Town of Ottawa was one of the hardest hit areas where a possible tornado came through.
CBS 58 spoke with a homeowner of more than 25 years who had several downed trees near his home. He said this is the worst damage he's ever seen.
"It's a mess," he said. "Over the next couple of days you'll be hearing a lot of chainsaws."
The NWS will also survey damage in the Fort Atkinson area.
