MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fire broke out at a paper company in Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon.
It started just before 4 p.m. at a building near Industrial and Mill.
Fire crews say there were a number of issues that made fighting the fire more difficult, including paper dust and stacks of paper.
"We have been hampered in our efforts by the extreme cold. Our lines are freezing. Our face pieces are freezing. So, we are taking a careful approach to make sure we don't miss anything, but also to make sure we get out of here without any injuries," said Batallion Chief Dan Lipski.
Several people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
