MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Senator Tammy Baldwin was in Milwaukee Friday morning, for a tour of Wisconsin Knitwear.
The local business says they've been impacted by President Trump's ongoing tariff policies.
Sen. Baldwin used her time at the facility to speak with the owners about their recent struggles, voicing her disapproval of Pres. Trump's ongoing trade war.
"He's hurting small businesses in America, he's hurting large business, he's hurting farmers and he's hurting families, all of whom have suffered under the tariff regime of this president," Baldwin said.
Sen. Baldwin also spoke about her disapproval of the Trump administration's actions in Iran and denounced the actions of ICE and Kristi Noem, a day after she was fired.
