See A Schooner up Close & Personal: Ride The Red Witch

You have a chance to set sail on a 2-masted wooden Tall Ship for at least the next few weeks.  “Red Witch” is calling Kenosha’s Southport Marina home through the end of July.

The 77-foot…41-ton boat is an exact replica of a Great Lakes “Working Schooner” from the 1840s. 

I actually got to ride the vessel on a perfect summer day. They even put me to work when I was onboard.

This tall ship is said to be the last of its kind to travel in the southern part of the Great Lakes.  Public sail rates are $29.  Children under seven will cost you $25.  Click on the attached link for all the information you want to know about Red Witch.
