MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- People in downtown Milwaukee celebrated the first day of summer with lunch outside on Thursday.
Sculpture Milwaukee hosted a pop-up lunch in Chase Plaza.
There were food trucks, a DJ, plus fun summer giveaways. People could also talk with artists who created some of the Sculpture Milwaukee pieces.
"What we want to do is get out, walk Wisconsin Avenue, interact with the art, take a look at it, enjoy it, take selfies, hashtag their selfies #sculptureMKE, and let the world know we're a world-class city," said Maggie Kuhn Jacobus, a Sculpture MKE volunteer.
More than 20 sculptures line Wisconsin Avenue from 6th Street to O'Donnell Park.
They will be on display until mid-October.
