Scrap metal fire in Waukesha temporarily shuts down stretch of Highway 164

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- According to reports from the Waukesha Police Department, a section of Highway 164 both east and westbound between Moorland and Choral Drive was temporarily shut down due to smoke emitting from this fire at Waukesha Iron and Metal.
Authorities say there are no injuries reported at the fire and that the facility is closed for the weekend.
According to Waukesha police, fire calls from the facility are not uncommon.
