Scooter's bat helps end skid

MILWAUKEE--The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-2 Friday night at Miller Park.
Brewers second baseman Scooter Gennett had three RBI, giving him 50 for the season. Starting pitcher Mike Fiers went 6.2 innings, striking out five batters while earning his fifth win.
Outfielder Ryan Braun returned to the lineup after the birth of his daughter.
