Schulte Elementary School in Sturtevant closed Tuesday due to small fire

STURTEVANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Classes are canceled at Schulte Elementary School in the Racine School District Tuesday due to a small fire in a bathroom.

The school district says the fire was put out quickly but due to smoke in the building, school is canceled.

District leaders anticipate the school will reopen for parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday.
