BAY VIEW, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Community members stopped a would-be book thief in Bay View.
Employees at the "Bay View Community Center" say they spotted a school bus driver emptying out the Little Free Library outside their building.
Little libraries are stations with free books. They run off the idea "if you take a book, you bring a book."
Employees say they confronted the woman.
"She was just like when a kid gets caught doing something they're not supposed to do. I think she was just going to leave except our other staff member went to the bus to get the books and got them and put them back in the library," said Linda Neft, president of the Bay View Community Center.
Linda says the same thing happened this past summer and the thief got away with all the books.
She also says there's been other incidents of stealing from Little Free Libraries across Bay View.
