Savannah, Georgia, WTOC-TV anchor Don Logana killed in car wreck

SAVANNAH, Georgia - A head-on collision early Sunday morning killed WTOC-TV anchor Don Logana, the station reports.

Police say they got a call about a wreck on Highway 17 near the Talmadge Bridge in SC, around 4 a.m. Sunday.

A blue pickup truck and a red four-door vehicle were involved in the crash, although it’s not clear who was driving what vehicle, nor what caused the accident.

WTOC-TV released a statement on social media saying, "We have heavy hearts in the WTOC newsroom this morning... We lost one of our very own. Don Logana passed away in an early morning car accident. Please keep us and the Logana family in your thoughts and prayers as we try to grasp this devastating news."
