Saturday Storm Update

The storm prediction center will keep southeastern Wisconsin in a marginal risk for strong to severe storms on Saturday.  As you can see the best chance for the concentrated severe weather will occur across the Northwoods.  Northern Wisconsin will have the best dynamics for severe weather, so the SPC has upgraded that area to a slight risk.

Saturday's forecast will feature some hit or miss showers and some storms from the morning into the afternoon; however, the overall coverage will be very isolated, so grab the umbrella and don't cancel the plans.  Even with a chance for a shower or storm, temperatures will spike into the middle 80s thanks to a southwest wind.

The best chance for any strong to severe storms will occur late Saturday night.  The marginal risk covers storms with small hail and gusty winds.  We will be watching the atmosphere closely for you.  Please download the CBS 58 Weather App to get watches and warnings right int he palm of your hand.
