Sampling Stitches

Join this beginning embroidery class where you’ll learn how to do hand stitching with embroidery floss on linen. A variety of stitches will be demonstrated, including the outline stitch, cross stitch, satin stitch, lazy daisy, and a few more. You’ll complete your work featuring your initials, some flowers, and other decorative stitches on a sampler suitable for framing when you’re done. (Frame not included with class.)
Age level: For grades 3 and up
Fee: $13/member, $16/non-member (supplies are included in the fee)
Member rebate wording: Member discount available to children of Family level (& above) memberships; however, grandchildren not included in discount. Rebate is given on the day of the workshop.
