KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Rustic Road Brewing Company in Kenosha is gearing up to host its second annual Lakeside Oktoberfest. The event aims to showcase local craft brews, live music, food and family-friendly entertainment.
It is scheduled to take place Thursday, Sept. 28, to Sunday, Oct. 1, at Celebration Place.
Chuck Nelson, owner of Rustic Road, along with head brewer Tom Stolfi and Julia Heiser, visited our studio on Thursday, Sept. 21 to preview the fun to be had at Lakeside Oktoberfest, including a special surprise four-legged guest!
The festival will feature performances from bands such as Old Brown Shoe, The Spirit Shakers and Revival. Its aim is to offer an authentic German-inspired setting right in Kenosha.
Public attendance is open throughout the event's four-day span, with musical acts ranging from Kai Anderson at noon Saturday to Nuke Plant Chickens closing out the event on Sunday at 6 p.m.
