WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) -- Friends and family of a young Rudolph woman are gathered to help her raise money for an exercise cycle on Saturday.
Nineteen-year-old Brianna Burgeson developed two rare medical conditions which left her paralyzed from the neck down.
Her family hopes to purchase a leg and arm cycling machine to keep her muscles active.
"We need all the help we can get, all the love we can get, and all the prayers," family friend, Deb Guister said, "Her parents applied through medicaid for the bicycle and got turned down. The bicycle is $20 thousand and they need to have 80% down."
Bullseye Credit Union is accepting donations to help to help the Bugeson family reach their goal.
