Rodgers doesn't practice, but McCarthy expects QB to play

Aaron Rodgers wasn't practicing in the portion of Wednesday's Packers workout open to the media, but Mike McCarthy still expects Rodgers to play in Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Cowboys.

Rodgers wasn't expected back at practice until Thursday as he continues to rest a calf that was reinjured in the Packers regular season finale in late December. Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien took the snaps at the portion of Packers practice open to the media Wednesday.

The Packers practiced indoors because of wind, but opened the doors to the practice facility to let cold air in. Estimates put the indoor temperature at practice time in the low to mid 20s, still warmer than the expected kickoff temperature Sunday at Lambeau Field.
