FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is charged in a road rage shooting that took place in a Sam's Club parking lot Saturday.

Luis Angel Cardona-Contreras, 56, is accused of pulling a gun and shooting the victim after becoming frustrated with his driving outside the Sam's Club on 27th St. in Franklin.

According to a criminal complaint, Cardona-Contreras and the victim became frustrated with each other while pulling into the parking lot, but no words were exchanged.

The victim reportedly parked and began walking toward the store when Cardona-Contreras drove beside him. According to the victim, multiple people in the car began yelling and cursing at him, and Cardona-Contreras pointed a gun at him.

According to the complaint, the victim slapped the firearm down, but Cardona-Contreras raised it again and fired a round, striking the victim in the upper chest.

Most of the incident, including the shooting, was captured on store surveillance.

Cardona-Contreras told investigators he was upset that the other driver cut him off, and got carried away in the heat of the moment.

He faces a first degree reckless injury charge.
