Road closures underway ahead of President Biden's Milwaukee visit

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Preparations are underway for President Joe Biden's visit to Milwaukee next week.

Some road closures are already in effect.

Biden will attempt a town hall at the Pabst Theater on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Wells Street between Water and Plankinton is closed through Thursday.

You will be able to walk to Wells Street businesses.

The start time of the town hall has been pushed back. It will now start at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The president will answer questions about the pandemic and the economy.

The delay clears room for Gov. Tony Evers to deliver his budget address, which is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
