Riverside Theater Plans to Sell Seats as a Fundraiser for MADACC

The Riverside Theater is giving you a chance to own a piece of Milwaukee history and help out a great cause. 

The theater is in the middle of a renovation which includes replacing all the seats from the balcony level.  Those seats will be sold in pairs with the proceeds donated to Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission. 

There is a lot of historic entertainment tied into these seats, they mean something to people.

“We could have just thrown them away, we could have sold them for profit, but we wanted to do something for a charity."

A few dogs from the shelter had their pictures taken on the seats which date back to 1928.

Details on how to buy the seats will be announced in the coming days.
