Ridglan Farms beagles ready for their new forever homes 🐕

CBS 58

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In a cuteness update, some of the Ridglan Farms beagles that were brought to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) in Waukesha are now ready for their forever homes!

About a half dozen beagles that were fostered came back this afternoon, ready for adoption.

Usually, HAWS closes at 5 on weekdays, but tonight it stayed open later in case people were ready to adopt.

To get updated on the Ridglan Farms situation, you can find our previous articles here.

For more information about the adoption of the beagles visit HAWS website here.

In another update, Congressman Mark Pocan says Ridglan Farms has been told to give up its federal breeding license by July 1st, or face action from the USDA.

Pocan says about 650 dogs are still at the facility.

He says even with the licenses being lost, research at Ridglan could still continue, and he's pushing federal agencies to shut the facility down completely and find home for the remaining dogs.
