Retirees wanted for seasonal positions at Waukesha County Parks

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Now that spring is coming to a close and the hotter months are ahead, county and city parks are facing a staffing shortage.

CBS 58 has reported Milwaukee County is in need of lifeguards and other park staff, but Waukesha is lacking workers too.

Instead of looking for high school students, on Tuesday, June 7, Waukesha County Parks said they are looking for retirees to fill seasonal positions.

They say their retired staff love the flexible hours, time outdoors and the opportunity to meet new people.
