Retired Milwaukee Firefighter Inviting Public to His Wedding to Raise Money for Children's Burn Camp

The First Annual Van Roo Fest August 5th Hart Park, Wauwatosa 5 p.m. to midnight

Admission is free with a cash bar and food for sale.

It is there that retired Milwaukee Firefighter Scott Van Roo will exchange vows with the love of his life Carla Miller.

The two are raising money for summer camp for injured children ages 7-17.

Instead of gifts, they're raising money to send kids to camp which is held the week of August 14th-20th. 

Those who attend wedding with bright red Van Roo Fest wristbands will get discounts on their purchases.

In the coming weeks, Van Roo will be out and about handing them out. On Friday night he'll be at Cathedral Square, handing them out during Bastille Days.

The two with daughter Emma were special live guests on the CBS 58 News at 4.
