MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the next seven days, you can try two and three-course meals from 28 downtown Milwaukee restaurants at a special price.
Downtown Dining Week happens just once a year, and it showcases some of the best foods the city has to offer.
Whether you live downtown or you've been looking for an excuse to visit, this week offers the opportunity to try new and old restaurants.
"It's a lovely opportunity to support our local entrepreneurs here," said Beth Weirick, the CEO of Milwaukee's Downtown Bid. "You can grab lunch for $15 or $25, dinner for $25 or $35."
Restaurants are open for lunch, dinner, or both.
"We brought Downtown Dining Week to September this year," said Rebecca Sue Button, the social media manager for Milwaukee's Downtown Bid. "Typically it's a summer event."
Now that the busy summer months are over, restaurants are excited to attract people to their businesses and show them the full dining experience.
"I feel like there's a to-go box in their future," said Jason Hiler, the general manager at Oak Barrel.
With large portions and multiple courses, it's a lot of food at a good price.
The full list of restaurants can be found here.
Deals will be going on until Thursday, Sept. 15. You can find out more about Downtown Dining Week here. Some restaurants are taking reservations.
