MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A measure that would stop the shackling of pregnant inmates in the Milwaukee County Jail passed the Milwaukee County Board Committee on Thursday afternoon.
Acting Milwaukee County Sheriff Richard Schmidt was at the hearing and said he will enforce the policy.
The full board is expected to vote on the measure next week.
