Reports: Jared Cook to Sign with Green Bay Packers

Reports are coming in that Jared Cook is set to sign with the Green Bay Packers as a tight end.

Cook was a player on the St. Louis Rams until February when the team moved to Los Angeles and cut him.

“A couple of details on the Packers signing TE Jared Cook: They showed immediate interest. The offer had been on the table since his visit, according to a source. He had drawn interest from the Carolina, Atlanta and Chicago but finally decided on the Packers. The deal will be finalized when he passes his physical on Monday,”  ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky said.

USA today's Tom Pelissero reported Packers offered Jared Cook a 2-year deal. They settled on a 1-year pact that maxes out at $3.65 million with incentives, source said.

NFL network's Ian Rapoport  reported  Cook has been spotted in Green Bay.
