GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Miami Dolphins are hiring Packers Vice President of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan as their general manager, ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter reported Friday, Jan. 9.

Sullivan has been with the Packers since 2003, starting as a scouting intern, according to Schefter. He has served as the team's vice president of player personnel since 2022, working alongside General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Schefter also noted that Sullivan is the son of Jerry Sullivan, a longtime NFL and college coach who retired in 2021 after more than 40 years in coaching.
