Report: Firearms Third Leading Cause of Death for Children in Wisconsin

A new report shows firearms are the third leading cause of injury death for children in Wisconsin.

It also found black children in this state are nearly five times more likely to die from a gun and are more likely to be victims of murder while white children are more likely to die from suicide.

Between 1999 and 2014 in Milwaukee County167 children were killed by guns.

And Milwaukee County kids were three times more likely than the rest of the state to be killed by a firearm.
