MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Repair work has started on Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church in Milwaukee.
A parishioner sent in photos of the progress starting to be made.
Metal supports and plates have been installed to support the walls that are still standing.
A fire back in May caused more than $17 million in damages.
A roofing crew was working on the church at the time.
