Renovations begin at Brewers’ spring training park in Arizona

PHOENIX (CBS 58) – The Brewers broke ground Tuesday on upgrades for the Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix, Arizona.

The team is investing nearly $60 million into the project.

The ballpark will get a new clubhouse, practice field, and batting tunnels.

There are also plans for a new parking lot, concession stands, and scoreboard.

Construction is expected to wrap up by the 2019 spring training season.
