NEWTOWN, CT (CBS 58) -- Sunday, Dec. 14, marks 13 years since 26 people were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
The shooter, a 20-eyar-old man, first killed his mother and took her car to the school, where he went on to kill six staff members and 20 students.
He then killed himself, 11 minutes after the shooting started.
The incident remains the deadliest mass shooting at an elementary school in American history.
