Remaining dry for the next few days

It's been a fantastic start to the day today with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temps in the upper 60s to low 70s. We'll stay dry today with more clouds and a lake breeze developing this afternoon. Keep that in mind if you're heading to Summerfest!

Dry weather will continue for Friday and Saturday with temperatures climbing back into the upper 70s to mid 80s. You'll also notice the humidity a bit more on Saturday, but a breezy wind will keep it rather tolerable. Scattered shower chances return to the area on Sunday, but what does fall will be fairly light.

While nobody will be complaining about the dry weather for week two of Summerfest, we could use the rain. A moderate to severe drought continues for a good chunk of southern Wisconsin.

Rainfall for folks south of 94 has been night and day compared to last year. Milwaukee has had less than half the amount of precip as we did this time last year, while Kenosha has had 1/3! Normal precip through this point in the year is 23-25" depending on your location.
