RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Racine is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at Campus Park in Mount Pleasant. The 2025 event, themed "Betting on a Cure," aims to raise funds for cancer research and patient care services.
Lo Nelson, senior development manager and cancer survivor, joined us on Monday, May 19, along with longtime volunteer Amy Helvick to discuss the event. Nelson has participated in Relay for 25 years since first walking as an honorary survivor.
Participants can register by clicking here. Proceeds support the American Cancer Society’s mission through community fundraising, with every dollar contributing to national research and local support programs.
