WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Severe weather continues to wreak havoc in the south.
A storm with heavy rain and tornadoes caused flooding and evacuations south of Atlanta, Georgia.
This is the same system that devastated parts of Mississippi Friday night, killing at least 26 people
Now, the Red Cross is stepping in to help.
Officials say no one from the Milwaukee area is heading south as of now. However, they have more than 150 people on the ground, with another 140 people nationally heading to those areas Monday.
The Red Cross is bringing trailers full of supplies to help in recovery efforts.
"Such as first aid kits, cleanup kits and a trap in the immediate aftermath of a devastating tornado such as this," said Mark Thomas, with the American Red Cross of Southeast Wisconsin. "People are just trying to get safe, and we're just trying to help them do that."
Red Cross officials say they are also working to get people in the south the basic necessities like food, clothing and medication.
