SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin Lottery player won a record-breaking $583,746 Fast Play Progressive Jackpot on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The winning $10 "50 Times the Money" ticket was purchased at Jake’s Wines and Liquor in Sheboygan.

According to the Wisconsin Lottery, the jackpot is the largest since Fast Play’s debut on April 23, 2023, surpassing the previous record of $403,497, won on July 26 by a ticket sold in Nekoosa.

Fast Play Progressive Jackpots grow with every ticket sold statewide. The percentage of the jackpot awarded depends on the ticket price, with $10 tickets winning 100%. Unlike other lotto games, prizes are determined instantly when the ticket is printed.

The Wisconsin Lottery offers eight Fast Play games across $1, $2, $5 and $10 price points, each contributing to the progressive jackpot pool.
