WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a campaign spokesperson, she was exposed at church on Sunday, Sept. 12.
Kleefisch was informed of her exposure on the morning of Thursday, Sept. 16, took a test, and received a positive test result on Sept. 17.
She was vaccinated last spring and is "feeling fine," according to the spokesperson.
Kleefisch announced her run for governor on Sept. 9.
All upcoming campaign events have been canceled and recent close contacts are being notified.
