Rain, Wind and Slick Roads...Evening Update

The National Weather Service has issued a "Wind Advisory" area wide until midnight. Take a look at the sustained wind the next 12 hours. Additionally, wind gusts could be up around 50 mph, especially during the commute and evening hours.  Look at some of the current wind gusts.

Isolated power outages are also a concern!

Temperatures will also tumble and by this evening, likely below freezing. That could lead to dangerous conditions on roadways as wet pavement turns icy. Use extreme caution with travel this evening and overnight. Wind chills will fall into the single digits!

As expected, highest amounts were found across our northern communities. There is a slight chance to see the rain transition to a spotty wintry mix as it winds down early this evening.
