Since Sunday we had three rounds of strong to severe storms as well as a number of light showers. The first big round of rain came with some severe storms on Sunday during the Packers game. We saw another round of severe storms early Monday morning from 2-4 AM and then a round of stronger storms from 8-9 AM Monday morning. After that most of us just saw a few showers with an isolated stronger storm Monday afternoon in Dodge County. Rain totals over the last few days has amounted to over 1" for many of our central communities. Fond du Lac and Sheboygan County areas saw less with around a quarter inch there. Racine saw even less with under a tenth of an inch and Kenosha didn't get much at all.
The 1.14" of rain picked up in Milwaukee since Sunday was the most rain we've had this month but is still about a tenth below the average by the middle of September. Last September of 2020 saw even more rain by this point.
Only a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm the rest of Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday look like nice dry days with a good mix of sun and clouds. The next rain chance will roll in Friday afternoon and evening.
