RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is planning their calendar of events for the upcoming spring and summer months. Beth Heidorn, the zoo's Executive Director, joined us on Monday, April 29 to preview what's ahead.

The zoo will kick off its All in for the Animals fundraiser throughout April, aiming to support over 300 animals and 75 species with necessary care. Visitors can make donations throughout the month via the zoo's website.

A special Mother's Day Brunch is scheduled for May 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering families a catered meal, animal encounters and crafts. Ticket prices vary based on membership status, with free entry for children under two.

The Bloody Mary Fest will take place on May 18 where participants can enjoy a selection of crafted drinks along Racine's scenic lakefront. Running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event features a public vote and a judges' panel to crown the best bloody mary. Admission is set at $40 for general attendees and $25 for non-drinkers.

The summer will continue with Music at the Zoo's live concerts on select Wednesdays. Starting June 26, performances include tributes to ABBA, Pat Benatar and Aretha Franklin, concluding with a show by Betsy Ade & the Well-Known Strangers on August 14.
