Racine victim pulled from house fire

RACINE-- Firefighters were called to a house fire in the 2600 block of Taylor Avenue on Sunday around 4:00pm.
Firefighters say the fire started in a living area on the third floor and traveled to the attic.
They also said the fire was extinguished quickly but while conducting a primary search of the building, fire crews found a victim located on the third floor.
The victim was removed from the building and transported to Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Emergency Room. There is no word on that victim's condition.
A firefighter was also treated for a minor injury.
The estimated property damage is about $100,000.
No word on what started the blaze; the fire is still under investigation.
