RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Raiders Football Club has several events slated for July, and Don Dadewitz, Vice President of Marketing for the club, joined us on Friday, July 7 to discuss details about upcoming games and charity activities.
The Raiders will face the Chicago Falcons on July 8 at the Youth Football and Cheer Camps Day/Night. Though camps are full, participating kids will have a chance to take the field during halftime.
The club will donate $2 from each adult ticket and $1 from every senior/student ticket purchased online to the family of Nate Samas, a quarterback who recently suffered a stroke.
Another game, scheduled for July 15 against the Motor City Rams, will feature an Alumni Night and Hall of Fame Inductions. During halftime, the team will recognize the members of its Alumni Association and honor the 1983 Racine Gladiators national championship team.
Six new members, including Bill Bushnell, Brian Erickson, Mike Hyzdu, Brian Jansen, Craig McClelland and J.R. Taylor will be inducted into the team’s hall of fame.
Additionally, the team is set to host a charity golf outing as a fundraiser on July 29.
