Racine Public Library to host Resource Fair and Renovation Celebration
RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Public Library is getting set to open its doors for a day of celebration and community building.
Their Health and Family Resource Fair will host over 30 local agencies on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including Fight to End Exploitation, Unity Racine, Workforce Development, LIFT WI, BeLEAF Survivors and more.
The goal is to provide resources in health, housing and employment. Complimentary refreshments will be available for all attendees.
In addition to the Resource Fair, the library will host a Renovation Celebration. Visitors are invited to explore the library’s newly-refurbished areas, including TeenScene and the Innovation Lab, which is a space designed to foster STEAM skills through hands-on learning and collaboration.
The day's activities also feature raffles with prizes ranging from baby supplies to a Cooking with Ease basket, children's books and canoe and kayak passes to the REC. Raffle winners will be announced at 1 p.m.
