Racine police seek suspect wanted in New Year's Day homicide at Rerun's Lounge

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police have identified a suspect wanted for questioning in the New Year's Day homicide at Rerun's Lounge. 

The US Marshals Service and Racine Police Department are currently looking for 24-year-old Abdullah Rashada. 

Rashada is described as a Black male, 5'11", 175 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say Rashada is known to use the alias "AJ" and has ties to Wisconsin and Illinois.

Police say Rashada is wanted for first degree intentional homicide after two people were killed at the Racine bar less than three hours into the new year.

Those victims were identified as 66-year-old Avery Stewart and 56-year-old Billy Petty, both of Racine.

Officials say Rashada should be considered armed and dangerous.
