Racine Police Rescue Dog from Marina

Racine Police rescued a dog from the Marina on Friday morning.

The dog was in the water and concerned citizen helped to get the dog out of the water until police arrived.

He has now calmed down and the Wisconsin Humane Society has towel dried him.

Dog is currently at the Wisconsin Humane Society Campus in Racine.

He is now named Michigan, and he is warming up and in is safe and stable condition.

Michigan was underweight when he was found.

Michigan is on a stray hold and they’re hoping to reunite the dog and owner.

If the owner is not found, he will go up for adoption.
