Racine Mother Charged with Selling Drugs in Her Home next to School Playground
A Racine mother of two was arrested for allegedly running a drug trafficking house where her and her two children live, according to a criminal complaint.
She was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and two counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety.
She has a 7-year-old and 2-year-old that live with her.
The Racine Police noted in the criminal complaint, her house was within 1000 feet of the playground for Walden School.
She allegedly told police she was making $1,200 each month by selling cocaine.
In the mother's bedroom there was cocaine powder on the top of a side table that police noted a 7-year-old could reach.
In addition, in what was believed to be the 7-year-old’s bedroom there was cocaine found on the floor.
She told police she would cook cocaine when her children were not present.
