RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Rachel Braun joined us to perform in Ra-Sing & Me this week!

Rachel grew up with music; between church, school, and family songs filled her life. She started singing as soon as she could talk and took up piano lessons at the age of six.

Her music career started early with a few professional appearances already in high school including singing the National Anthem for a Brewer’s pre-season game in Arizona. She attended Wisconsin Lutheran College with a vocal performance scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Vocal Performance.

Rachel has performed in all 50 states as well as throughout Canada as a member of Branches Band. She (and her husband) are full-time musicians, and when she’s not performing she’s taking care of their two girls; one in first grade and the other almost two years old. Something unique about Rachel is her wide range of audiences; she leads school music programs for children as young as pre-school age all the way up to performing for the ‘young at heart’ in senior living facilities. In addition to performing and being a mom she also assists her husband in their music business, Braun Music, which books a variety of musicians for events all across the state of Wisconsin and beyond.

You can find out more of Rachel B’s schedule as well as many other musicians at braunmusic.com with more dates being added regularly.
