Franksville Food Truck Fest
The inaugural event was a success, so the Franksville Food Truck Fest is coming back for a second year. The husband and wife team behind Hop Heads Hospitality & Events explains everything that’s new for 2019. The Food Truck Fest is September 6-7th at the Franksville Craft Beer Garden.
Meat on The Street
Meat on the Street is one of the food trucks you’ll see this year at the Franksville Food Truck Fest. CBS 58 Morning News anchor Jessica Tighe invites the team to the station to learn how the company got its 4-wheel start. We also find out what’s on the menu for the fest and how family ties keep the business rolling along.
School Lunch Ideas
It’s back to school time! Kids in the Racine Unified School District return to class on Tuesday, September 3rd. That means packing healthy meals for the kids is right around the corner. Kerry Clifford, a registered dietitian with Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, shows us unique and nutritious lunch ideas for every age group.
Case Criminal Justice Auto/Cycle Show
There are a lot of car shows in southeastern Wisconsin, but this one makes a real difference in our community. The Case Criminal Justice Club Auto/Cycle Show raises money for student scholarships. It’s also expanding this year to help an additional group.
Officer Ben Mieloszyk of the Mount Pleasant Police Department explains why they’ll donate funds to veterans as well as students this year. The show is Sunday, September 8th from 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM at the Franksville Craft Beer Garden.
