RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- You can enjoy an afternoon of sampling local beer paired with bacon-infused finger foods!

The Downtown Racine Corporation is hosting their 3rd annual Beer & Bacon Walk on Saturday, November 5th from 1pm-6pm. Stroll the sidewalks downtown and sample delicious brews paired with bacon-infused bites at twenty downtown locations. Mark your calendars and set your alarms because tickets are expected to sell out fast! Tickets on Sale October 1st!

-Admission to event
-20 3 oz. samples of beer
-20 bacon-infused food samples
-16oz pint glass
– One 16 oz full-pour of your choice

Who wouldn’t want to pair mouthwatering bacon-infused bites with craft beer? Thanks to the Red Onion, Amos Los Tacos, Reefpoint Brew House, Dewey’s, Foxhole Lounge, Marci’s on Main, Pepi’s Pub and Grill and the Ivanhoe Pub and Eatery for creating delicious bacon finger foods for the event.

Some of these delicious bites include: Root beer Moonshine bacon-wrapped corn dogs, Mac and Cheese with bacon, chicken and bacon street tacos, bacon hash brown fritters, dark chocolate-covered bacon with candied pecans just to name a few. Is your mouth watering yet?

Bring your little monsters, princesses, and Minions for a free trick-or-treating event. Downtown businesses will be passing out sweets and treats. Mark your calendars for Sat., Oct. 22 and 29 from 12 pm-2 pm for Downtown Racine’s annual Candy Crawl and Scavenger Hunt. Bring the family for a day of free candy giveaways and a fun scavenger hunt for kids of all ages to enjoy. Over 25 participating businesses will pass out candy and welcome participants to their shops and restaurants.

Free face painting (Oct 22 only) and free bags that you can use to fill with candy and Candy Crawl maps will be available at the Downtown Racine Corp. office (425 Main St). Kids will also be able to participate in a self-guided Halloween-themed scavenger hunt. Those who return their completed map to the DRC office will be entered to win one of three kid’s prize packs. Maps must be returned to the DRC office by 4 pm on Oct. 29.

Maps of locations along with scavenger hunt sites are available at RacineDowntown.com beginning Oct. 15.
