Racine man sentenced to life in prison for deadly Mount Pleasant salon shooting

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 35-year-old Racine man was sentenced to life in prison for a deadly shooting in 2021. 

Tamir Williams learned his fate Friday afternoon, March 3. He was convicted for the murder of Andre Sandoval.

At the time, Williams was working in a salon in Racine, and he told police that Sandoval would not pay for his haircut. 

Friday's sentence was life in prison without the chance for extended supervision.
