Racine County deputies revive Waukesha man using NARCAN

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A Waukesha man was taken into custody on drug charges after the Racine County Sheriff’s Office says he was revived by NARCAN.

The Sheriff’s Office says dispatch took a 911 call reporting that a 30-year-old man had passed out and would not wake up.

Deputies and an ambulance responded to the scene on Overson Road in the Town of Norway and found the man was unconscious and breathing sporadically. Deputies gave the main two doses of NARCAN and say he quickly regained consciousness.

After an investigation, the man was arrested on suspicion of drug charges.
