Racine Co. High School Students Gets A Diploma; Recycles Her Cap & Gown

One senior graduating from Case High School in Racine County knows it's more than getting a diploma. For 18 year old Mary Ellen Graebner, it's about giving back to fellow students in need.

She's spearheaded a program called \"Gowns for Grads\" for the last four years. It centers around gowns made available to students who cannot afford to buy their own. So far at least 15 of them have been donated. Graebner says volunteering is just as important as getting high marks while in school.

Meantime, she's going to the University of Dayton in the fall to major in engineering.
